Which pattern/vintage style have you been thinking about lately? I don't sew vintage.  I am too big and too much of a beginner to wade-in.  However, I have never forgotten this 1920's coat pattern from EvaDress which I noticed a few years ago:

(1929 Coat sizes 16 or 18)

What is the one place you want to visit you've never been before? I once tried to travel overland to Timbuktu in Mali from Abidjan.  I was travelling with my Mom (yea Moms!)  We never got further than Bob-Dioulasso in Burkina Faso.  Mom's tummy hurt, and I found the border crossing stressful enough from the Ivory Coast that I didn't fancy doing it a total of three more times.  I feel I should say that I want to get back there and tick it off my list, but really, I got so ground down that I lost my taste for it.
(The mud mosque in Bobo-D which we did at least get to see.)

There are plenty of places I have never been and would like to see.  On the other hand, as I get older I get crochety.  Flying is not what it used to be and "the journey" has become a real hassle.  So I don't know whether I will make it to any of these places:  the beach in Montevideo; the mountains in New Zealand; the fjords in Norway; the great desert in Mongolia.

How do you relax? Sewing, gardening, reading, chatting to my mom on the telephone.  And, reading blogs of course!

What is your favourite holiday/ vacation?  We rent a cottage directly on the beach in Northumberland every summer.  It's bliss.

That is/are sewing skills you want to learn/try out? There are so many, I don't know where to start.  Learning to match the right fabric to the right pattern would constitute a huge leap forward for me.

Can you knit? Crochet? Other crafting talents? I don't knit, I don't crochet.  I am not against it, I just never had the chance to learn.  I do a bit of quilting which is great fun, and you end up with something precious and truly useful in the end.

What garment/accessory do you wear most often? Jeans, jeans, drawstring trousers, jeans, combats, jeans.  (I am a pencil skirt girl in my wildest most optimistic fantasies.)

How much time do you spend reading blogs (per day/per week)?  I spend about 30 minutes a day reading them.  I think the word addiction would not be an exaggeration here.  I tend not to read them on the weekends though.  Weekends are family time, and we are super busy either doing jobs or having fun together.

Your motto/mantra? I don't really have any.  I think most of us would agree that "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you," is rock-solid advice.

Tagged! I am going to "tag" some other blogs that I don't think have played this game yet.  I'd like to tag the Fabulous Dr. E, Mary Nanna (Make it Smirk), and Cybersewer. If you have already played or just don't fancy the game, I won't be put out.
