America's Next Top "Plus Size" Model

Last week, we wrote about America Idol's Joanne Borgella being voted off the show, this week we are happy to report that a plus-size model, Whitney Thompson, is still going strong on America's Next Top Model. Whitney is a beautiful 20-year old standing 5'10" and a size 8. She looks confident and just gorgeous on stage. Roaman's wishes you the best of luck as we will cheer you on throughout the competition.

Joanne Borgella - Plus Size Idol

We were sad to see one of Roaman's favorite American Idol contestant being let go last night. Joanne Borgella is a young lady full of confident and talent who made the cut to the top 24 singers in this season's American Idol. In terms of singing potential, I think she is top 3 amongst the ladies. However, many believe that due to the wrong song choices, her capabilities did not prevail.

What we like about Joanne is her confidence on stage. She is a healthy, beautiful woman which is what Roaman's is all about. We think this is the perfect image of a well-balanced, plus size woman and we hope Joanne the best in pursuing her singing career!

Joanne was already on her way up to stardom a couple of years back when she "wowed" Mo'nique and the producers of the TV Show Fat chance with her audition tape.
