July has been a very good month to me and to end it was my very much awaited Anthology Shoes campaign shoot with none other than Tricia Gosingtian. It was actually my second time working with her. Before she was the photographer and I was the model for a Philippine Star bloggers feature but this time she's the new face of the campaign and I played the stylist. When Karrots Nazareno , Anthology's shoe designer , told me about this project , I was excited but more skeptical because I style for myself and most of the time it's not planned. No blue print. no mood board. I seriously wish I could be O.C. but I am not. So Karrots helped me build the moodboard so to narrow the looks. In fact one of the reasons why I said yes is that when Karrots told me that the my clothes will be used meaning no harsh pull outs haha.


I was so happy when she approved the looks I curated. Its minimal but there's story in clothes. Tricia Gosingtian was sweet enough to tell me how excited she was to be KARL for half a day. Its one of my frustrations to dress up someone in my wardrobe and I was so lucky that it was Tricia Gosingtian who devirginized my idea #kilig Read her blog entry here


It was an easy shoot. Its my first time to really style a campaign and I wish that my future styling stints (if there's any) would be as easy peasy. We have 5 layouts and we ended at 1pm. Its easy working with the team and Tricia is like a doll. She is easy to dress up and by easy I mean no arte whatsoever! Now i know why Tricia Gosingtian has a big number of loyal followers..

so here's the feature by Ystye Philippine Star last Friday! My mom bought 4 copies haha. i was SID VICIOUS but its just like me in my everyday outfit circa the early 2010 but i think that's the theme - to imbibe and make their style your version. i'd like to thank Paulo Castro, RCXY Bautista, Gian Bordello and Stefan Punongbayan for helping me choose and decide on which icon to impersonate since im so clueless that time. Thanks to the wonderful team esp. to editor Miss Liane Reyes and to Ms. Tricia Gosingtian!!! I love you more today than yesterday ! At least, i was able to work with her before i die .

so we was summoned again for a fun shoot last Monday. clue: haloween.

I was with the most POPULAR , pretty and skinny pinay bloggers and it was fun. I still feel shy whenever i talk or sit beside them because they're just super perfect unlike me. Its like you know every bit of them because you read and follow their blogs but still you yearn to know more . Beside the i hyped you and the i love yer shoes , where did you get it comments are genuine and smart people. To make matters weird, i was the only guy . the rose among the... orchids pero keri na!

As usual, they're always surprised when they discover that i work as a nurse. They cant fathom how i am still able to do things in both worlds. the secret: ABSENCES! haha.. and im already running out of excuses. chos! Jesus , forgive me!

I was excited because the TRICIA GOSINGTIAN was the photographer of the shoot. She's so nice to work with and it was weird having her as a photographer and me as her subject. All in all, the shoot went off smoothly. Thanks to the MAKE UP FOREVER team for the hair and make up.
