Yesterday was 0ne of the most exhausting day of my work week. My shift ends at 2pm but It was already 4 in the afternoon and I was still in the hospital running around, getting things for patient X while attending to patient Y as I text doctor XY regarding patient Z . It was a circus. Come 4pm , I arrived at home , removed my socks and suddenly I found 2 packages near the fridge. It was a package from Gold Dot. Ally Duazo, the owner, and I were just sharing thoughts on BBM re: the new collection and now , its in my hands! She asked me a week ago to choose from the 3 designs , and she suggested this black and white cut out platforms! Then as i rummaged the package, there's a small bag which has a bday card greeting on it. Inside was a two toned mesh leggings from Chapel' .

I was about to leave the house in my purple harems and neon shirt but I was too shy. I quickly changed. 10mins was quick. As much as i want to be different , i also prefer to be hidden and subtle. Black doesnt show everything that easily. You have to exert a certain amount of effort to appreciate the folds.. the cut.. the drapes that is involved in it. Colors can wait. It's ' gonna be a long summer anyway.

As for my shoes, theyre extremely light and comfy. Im walking on air again.

The battle of supreme height and swelling platforms among shoe brands is  getting cutthroat but Soule Phenomenon , I must say , is leading the pack.This time , there are only  3 new limited designs for this collection. I , myself, bought the Andre and SweetcandyLove booties and they're my staple shoes already. The peculiar details (e.g. studs ,wooden Popsicle , hard rubber )  and sharp architecture of the wedges from her PLUSH II collection amp up the brand's edgy aesthetic..
Soule Phenomenon  is continuously stepping up ... both literally and figuratively

This was taken during my visit at the Eastwood Mall.
I might be staying at home more these next few weeks or months because haplessly Manila is in danger again . Just yesterday, there was a bombing incident in Makati. The bomb was planted inside the bus and got 2 passengers killed. Thanks to twitter for bringing in the news. I was poleaxed and stunned for a minute since i always ride the bus when i go outside. Ive always felt this unexplainable comfort and peace when im inside, enjoying the full blast aircon while staring the view outside. Well..Not anymore. So guys, be careful. Life is a gift .

Ive always believed that one day fashion can save this world, but a bomb is a bomb, people.

i think im gonna be obsessed with these shoes for a very long long time. Since ACNE created their Atacoma Wedge, my philosophy on shoes has changed. The Margielic detailing of the metal plate on the sides of the wedge is undeniably interesting. But I think I won't wear them for abusive walks on blemished pavements . Thanks Nicole of FivebyFive
