I've been frustrated for weeks now reading about all the great styles in this February's Burda magazine and not being able to get ahold of it. My local WHSmith used to carry it, but quit. The independent news agent north of here, no longer carries it. Cue panic.
I decided to bite the bullet, and get a subscription. I did this a few weeks back on Burda's own website. You cannot actually complete a transaction there. You fill out some details, and they send you an email promising to get back to you. Still waiting for that one!
Finally, I ordered a subscription with Newstand. I felt defeated when my confirmation email came back showing that the subscription would start in March. I called them up to see if there was anyway to get the current issue. Sure! I called yesterday, it came in the post today- hurrah!
I am sharing this rather prosaic tale because I know a few other folks are having trouble getting ahold of this issue as well. The London Pin Queen's sad story especially springs to mind!
