Water in Singapore

One of the biggest challenges Singapore faces as a nation is to ensure the steady supply of fresh water.

To do this, the city-state relies on several sources, including sea water through desalination plants, water piped from Malaysian reservoirs, rainwater collection, and water recycling, also known as Singapore NEWater.
