Given a chance, I shall choose to wear these unpretty and monstrous things over and over again . It is but surprising to still feel opulent when these are worn altogether. I think that this vertebrae necklace is the highlight of OS' collection. Who would have thought that bones can create a very riveting framework not only from the inside but also on the outside?

Paradigm Shift x Miadore x Seven Baretto

Last night, FaDAL celebrated two of the most talented individuals of our time -Miadore designer Yekky Balingit and Fashion Photographer Seven Baretto as we collaborated with them thru an exhibit . The exhibit + party was a success. Yekky was tasked to design necklaces fit for each designer's aesthetic. My favorite model , Jessica Yang translated the whole feel into a different level. Ive always loved Seven Baretto photos ever since I saw his editorials on MEGA Magazine.

It was during May or April when I think I fervently asked god and the universe for a cooler weather. I really prayed so hard. It was the peak of summer and even right after shower, you already sweat like you've jogged a mile . It's so difficult to dress up because if you start layering , it's considered suicide. Come June, and everyday (and night) is raining. I know , the bed weather provokes each and everyone of us to get excited and layer up. Scarf here , leggings plus shorts there. and yes.. yer favorite leather jacket that you hid beneath the closet is now being overused.. The leather jacket that you only dare to wear in the office or in the air-conditioned bus is now wearable in its practical sense. But with the nasty weather , its really risky to go out. Just like tonight. I was supposed to attend the FaDAL exhibit featuring Miadore and Seven Baretto but reading tweets scared me. I dont know what lies beyond the road going to the place but the incessant rain is enough to warn me not to push through. Then I received a text saying that the much awaited exhibit was cancelled. I really felt sorry for Yekky of Miadore , my good friend , who prepared so much for this. Anyway, it was rescheduled and we can only hope for a dry night next week.

Ive realized that i tilt my head sidewards a lot. I think its my way of finding my angle which i am not an expert of. Its my attempt to slim down my round face and elongate my thick neck. Optical illusion works. Ive received a lot of comments saying that they were surprised when they see me in person coz i look rather tall in photos. and that i am nicer. Pairing this flowy oversized tank by Don Protasio with my favorite structured deconstructed from Thank You Today which i got on sale created a lovely contrast. Though, similar in palette, the clash between form was evident. I know there was a lot going on in what i wore for a mundane Sunday morning but when will you start having fun in dressing up? its always a happy unbirthday day for me and you should too. its therapeutic.

Now i understand why Don Protasio said that I'd fall in love with the oversize silk dress. It looked even more attractive once worn with something structured. Im so happy that my white pieces are beginning to overshadow my black ones... Ermm how is that? I do hope that there's a flicker of sense in what i have just said.
