Norman Noriega top holiday 2010 / Topshop Leggings / Inkarlcerating wedge by Soule Phenomenon

p.c. Edrick Bruel

I cannot quite tell whether this grey top is categorized as a shirt or as a dress. Its a hybrid i guess of a shirt and a dress and judging from how it looked like when worn, it is exactly difficult to tell. That's why I ordered this in a heartbeat 2 weeks after Norman Noriega showed his holiday collection on PFW 2010 last May. I am intrigued and interested in pieces that doesnt give you the answers right away, no category nor gender, hence , leaving me a plethora of ways and imaginations on how to werq this simple yet stunning shirt err dress. Honestly, the shirt dress' mood greatly depends on what shoes i wear. For example, i wore this with my beefy 8 eye doc martens and it looked mannish and grungy albeit the flowy asymmetrical side tail it has. But once i wear it w/ wedges and the like, it instantly shifts from a normy shirt into a cape like dress. Almost like a maxi dress save for the shape and asymmetry. I hope more retail stores would make these pieces (or maybe not?) . Pieces that are multi functional and not just some fitted shirt with a crocodile sign on it
