When you are traveling on a budget, it is important to keep in mind that the cheaper hotels might not be on the boardwalk with all the casino hotels. It is easy to find a great deal, but it might take a little more researching to find a hotel with a good location. Highly rated budget hotels include Comfort Inn Boardwalk, Royal Suites at Atlantic Place, Days Inn Atlantic City Boardwalk, Econo Lodge Beach Block.

Downside - Atlantic City is not the best place to take the whole family, we recommend it for adults. Also, parts of Atlantic City of known for high crime rates. If you travel away from the main resorts, be careful!
Overall, Atlantic City is a somewhat fast paced vacation, with so much to do and see in a short time, there is little time left for relaxation.
