Mercibeaucoup Fall Winter 2010 Padded Fabric Corsage

Kawaii! Who can resist 'Kawaii' charm from the land of the rising sun... the Japanese are so adept at creating the cutest things, they can even turn the most 'ugly' things into the most adorable.

When I first saw these Mercibeaucoup Fall Winter 2010 Padded Fabric Corsage from my friend's iphone pics, I knew I want it. Big, loud, fun and colourful but most of all, so cute! I want all of them.

With some free time on my hands before my Diesel Craft Rebel Party on Friday, I stopped by Blackjack at Forum Shopping Mall to bag some of these!

So out of the 6 variants to choose from, I got the 2 best looking ones embroidered with gold sequins and made from sumptuous plaid and tweed fabrics. These oversized padded corsages somehow reminded me of Alexander Mcqueen (Red plaid) and Chanel (Grey tweed). They are definitely made to be an eye catching decorative piece on anything from bags, jumpers, shirts or blazers! Love it. At SGD70 a piece, it's a must-buy!

Wild Dunes’ Links Course: Fazio’s First Solo Design Turns 30

THERE ARE A FEW golf courses in South Carolina. Just a few. (Over 360.) At least one of them, the Tom Fazio-designed Links Course at Wild Dunes Resort, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. It was the first solo project for the famed architect who also designed two Pinehurst courses and has overseen renovations at Augusta National.

The Links Course continues to be ranked among the top courses in the United States. Fazio’s first design features rolling fairways, undulating greens, rustling palms, massive dunes and oceanside finishing holes. Practice facilities include a driving range, chipping area and putting green. Last year the 18th hole was restored to its original par-5 configuration along the Atlantic.

To mark the 30th anniversary, Wild Dunes Resort has put together a 1980s-inspired golf package. Priced at $225 per person per night, it includes a round of golf on the Links Course or Harbor Course, resort accommodations, a flashback 80s music CD and a signature 1980s-style anniversary golf hat. The offer is available for stays from September 7 through December 29.

On the northern tip of Isle of Palms, a barrier island off South Carolina’s coast, the Links Course is less than 30 minutes from Charleston and an easy hop from (or to) Myrtle Beach or Kiawah. Wild Dunes Resort is a 1,600-acre oceanfront property and offers a variety of accommodations and amenities.

I won this at CHA!

Here is one of the goodies I brought home from CHA.  I won this from a drawing!  I was sooo excited until my good friend Michelle won her Gypsy & Cuttlebug from the Provo Craft booth!  lol  I still love my new tape glider but a new Gypsy or Cuttlebug would of been nice too!  I have so many other wonderful things that I received from CHA I can't complain.  I can't wait to start getting my orders of new product...especially the new ribbon.  I ordered a ton of the new flower ribbon that is so popular right now.  I will post a few more pictures tomorrow of some of my new items.

Lloyd Ralphs Design....

Don't you just love these rooms? I love the white. You know, it is so funny, but it seems like since I've gotten older my taste has changed. I use to love a lot of color and not much white. Now I'm in love with white! It's such a sophisticated, romantic, crisp, chic clean color, especially when done tastefully. I like to work my color around the white. Now my favorite style is using white with soft colors like nudes, grays and pastels. What some of your favorite colors? All designs are done by Lloyd Ralphs Design.
