Vulcan Arenal puffing away

Waterfall on the Rio Celeste.
The water is an opaque light blue due to the volcanic minerals from the Vulcan Tenorio.

After 5 lovely weeks with Grandpa in Costa Rica, we are home again and rather jet lagged.  The kids enjoyed it and even learned a little Spanish which was the main point.  Sadly, to really make progress they would need to go summer after summer which just isn't feasible.

I've had the chance to read many of your blog entries while I was away, but commenting was usually impossible.  I don't think I'll try to catch up!  It would be overwhelming.  But, I am looking forward to joining the Autumn sewing conversation.
